There once was a woman who lost her mother when she died unexpectedly. Officer Lance is cool as a limited character, and get Colin Salmon back on the show please, he was one of my favorites. I can’t stand people who go to the trouble of making themselves anonymous just to take a shit in someone else’s sandbox. I have total faith in the folks at Gym Jones. I just think the show needs to stop giving a damn what fans think then it will stop messing up. She can carry her own stories.
So yeah, I had a pretty poor attitude going into the Supergirl pilot. Well as you guessed it, Laurel is the Canary and John announced on his Twitter account that he will no longer watch Arrow or lead the Arrow After Show. She had to find the strength to forgive her sister for having an affair with Oliver. Laurel Lance is the second most fleshed out character on Arrow, only second to Oliver Queen, himself. Alas, it seems like there is no simple right or wrong answer for this issue. We’ve seen what starts the legacy of Black Canary.
Campea, just because you may not like what you’re seeing doesn’t mean that the writers haven’t done great things with her. We’ve seen her investigate baddies like Seson Blood.
So yeah, I had a pretty poor attitude going into the Supergirl pilot. If you wanna talk about professional help, let me tell you a story, Mr. Or, does she take the skills she’s learned from him and channel them for good? Tweet Tweet Tweets by notenoughnerds. You can hate Laurel Lance all you want, but please know there are those of us who love the character with great reason and are excited to see her progression!
Yes Arrow writters should become aware that Daredevil is a masterpice of superhero writting, that show gives most what to expect from an adaption from the comics. As a critic, it’s his job to give an opinion or a review, but only AFTER he’s seen the finished product. Is Arrow just as good? Anyways, getting back on topic, John promised that ehow would stop watching Arrow if Laurel ever did become the Canary, stating that the show would be too farfetched arroe unrealistic and would impede his enjoyment.
Four years later, her father died. Laurel on the other hand has been mishandled by the writers since season 2 with her irrational behaviour and her minimal or no combat training. And, during all of those losses, that woman went through Breast Cancer treatment. If I told you there was a character who: She can carry her own stories.
As far as my post about Laurel goes, I think if you had taken some time to read it, you might have a better understanding sesson what I love about the character. I can’t stand people who go to the trouble of making themselves anonymous just to take a shit in someone else’s sandbox.
She had to find the strength to forgive her sister for having an affair with Oliver. I didn’t love how the addiction plotline was handled by the writers, qrrow I also don’t think that all the hate directed at Laurel is justified. Too much rocky emotional acts from the women, when action and growth were needed also damaged season 3 somewhat.
What do you all do for your parties, if I may ask? The way it looks now is abit off course.
I think at this point, Laurel, has been strong enough shod get over all that stuff with Oliver and the crappy way he’s treated her in the past, but I imagine that somewhere in her, she still loves and cares about him. Instead of focusing on her own sadness, which is so easy to do, she channels her energy into good causes. It’s been seasin years since all of that trauma and tragedy began and that woman is now, Cancer-free, teaches Sunday School, volunteers at a womens’ shelter, and works with a hospice organization.
We know of her sense of justice to help those who can’t help themselves. I find that female characters are often judged a lot more harshly than male characters.
Now that is seriously deranged, I really don’t know what this guys problem with women is but AMC really need to consider cutting him loose he is an absolute raving idiot.
Aarrow John too extreme with his departure from the Arrow After Show?
I love all the characters but this Olicity thing is going to be a big regret when all is done. We’ve seen her start training with Wildcat. I mean, we spend our free time creating photos, videos, and reviews on our favourite nerdy stuff.
If so, be glad Batman isn’t real because he would punch you jobn the face.
An Open Letter to John Campea – savingpeople
Oh, I know about his comments regarding Gal. We’ve seen her interactions with the Arrow go from being fascinated by him to hunting him down to respecting him. I think I make it pretty clear that a I’m not offended by people disliking Laurel; they’re free to do so, b I don’t think she’s a horribly written character; her progression on Arrow is one of the things they’ve done pretty well though I do agree they could have done some things betterIMO, c I am somewhat concerned about some people’s opinions of Laurel because it reflects their personal thoughts on capmea who struggle in life such as addictsand d I am encouraged and inspired by Laurel’s journey.
Doesn’t really matter what Campea thinks. Have the writers lost focus? Of course, the worst part of his comments were the blatant body-shaming.
